  • We charge a 10% commission.

  • No sweat. Do your best, and add plenty of detail in the description box. We’ll reach out to you with any questions we may have as we assess your answers and list your ring.

  • We use a number of factors, like the 4Cs, popular styles, recent sales, and market research, that are all part of our proprietary algorithm. Part of the benefit of selling with For Richer is that there is no haggling and no stress of whether you are leaving money on the table. We’ll set the price for you at a fair one, and we’ll be happy to discuss with you if you disagree with the initial listing price.

  • It will depend on a few factors, like current ring style trends, time of year, and price. If we notice your ring hasn’t sold after a while, we will reach out and help you re-price it if that is something you are interested in.

  • Shipping is completely safe. We contract through Jewelers Mutual to ship via UPS. All shipments are insured just in case anything goes wrong.

Buyer FAQs

  • We work directly with a licensed gemologist, who will vet the piece of jewelry you purchased before it ships to you. You’ll get confirmation that your ring is exactly what you wanted! In the rare instance that the specs do not match the original listing, the sale will be canceled immediately and we’ll notify you.

  • It depends! We recommend checking back every few weeks to see newly listed rings.

  • They aren’t. Part of the benefit of shopping with For Richer is that we do our research to list rings at a fair price for both the buyer and seller. Our algorithm guarantees you’re getting a great value. No haggling, no stress.

  • Just like buying a home or a pre-owned car, your ring has had a prior life. We will always call out any flaws or damage with the listing. But you can expect the ring itself to be clean, polished, and shining like new thanks to our gemologist’s TLC. It will pop for the ‘gram, we promise.

  • Right now, the average time from order to receiving at your home is 3 weeks. So if you’re about to plan a surprise engagement, make sure you have enough time to receive the ring!

  • Yes they are.
